Single runes can be found anywhere within Diablo 2: Resurrected, starting with Normal difficulty, and progressing the Hell difficulty. Runes can be plugged into sockets, much like gems, and you can put them into items that are socketed to get their effects. However, the true magic of runes is when you mix them with a set order to create specific items.
