I’ve been getting flooded with calls from Amcol Systems for the past few weeks, and it’s starting to feel like straight-up debt collection harassment. They claim I owe some old medical bill, but I’ve checked my credit reports and there’s nothing showing up. They keep calling from different numbers, leaving voicemails that sound threatening, and one rep even hinted they might “take further action” if I don’t pay soon.

I tried asking for proof of the debt, but they just keep calling instead of sending anything in writing. From what I’ve read, that’s not how they’re supposed to operate under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I came across this article about it — End Amcol Systems Debt Collection Harassment
    — and it sounds exactly like what I’m dealing with.

Has anyone else been through this with Amcol Systems? How did you get them to stop? Did filing a complaint with the CFPB or sending a cease communication letter actually work? I’d really appreciate hearing from others who’ve dealt with this kind of harassment. It’s honestly exhausting.
