The Madden NFL 23 has suspended New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. for four games for a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, according to Madden NFL 23 Network’s Albert Breer.
Winslow, 30. has scored 17 receptions for 231 yards and 169 yards in his first campaign with the Jets but was named as unfit for the Jets’ Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after sitting out during the week’s practice due to a knee injury.
In 2008. Winslow was suspended for one game from former Cleveland Browns general manager Phil Savage after he criticized the team’s handling of a staph outbreak, but the suspension was later cancelled. The PED suspension is his first in his professional career.
It was Friday when Winslow released a statement on the suspension.
