It’s definitely not a recommended introduction
Public Group active 3 years, 2 months agoIt’s definitely not a recommended introduction to D2R Items the Diablo franchise for players who are just beginning as well, and even though its retro style of gameplay can be a nostalgic contrast to other ARPGs of recent years, it does feel a little uncomfortable and awkward compared to. Diablo 2: Resurrected is definitely a more niche game for those who are ardent Diablo gamers, and even though it’s received well however it’s not going to have a wide appeal.
D2R Ladder isn’t the only controversy that Blizzard has been facing recently it has also had to deal with Overwatch 2 becoming rather controversial with reports of sexual harassment and a sexist office culture.
While Blizzard is by no means the only major developer to have been hit by these allegations but this is a combination with the microtransactions controversy cause players to be less than enthusiastic towards Blizzard in the present.
Due to all the criticism, Blizzard has had to make it clear to players that the forthcoming D2R Ladder won’t be anything similar to D2R Ladder. It could be but the introduction of cosmetic microtransactions in the next Diablo game does mean that players are a bit wary.
The release of D2R Ladder is still recent, and D2R Ladder is at least several months away, so the criticisms and skepticism still feel fresh. Diablo 2: Resurrected may have been capable of overcoming its less than perfect launch, but Blizzard isn’t exactly considered a top choice for gamers lately.
D2R Ladder is already a totally different game from the unlucky D2R Ladder. as it’s fully-priced and designed for PC and consoles. You can expect multiplayer elements and PvP encounters, and even though D2R Ladder will have cheap diablo 2 resurrected items a large open world to explore, it’s not an MMO.
