Diablo Immortal is not nearly as bad as a free-to Diablo IV Gold -play Diablo could have been. The game is a constant assault on your moment with a multitude of microtransactions in all sorts of unfathomable currencies. Yet, despite its flaws, I liked Diablo Immortal more than I disliked it. It’s true that Diablo Immortal even has several clever gameplay tricks that I hope Blizzard keeps in place as they work on Diablo IV.
If you feared that F2P mechanics would thwart Diablo Immortal, then your fears were justified. The control scheme here is a little different depending on whether you play on desktop or mobile devices, however the fundamental concept remains the same.
