This also plays that jagex is a indie studio, even when instead they have multiple teams of individuals working on things. They can easily have 12 guys working on engine migration and have six cooking months of new content that you rush through in a week and rs gold 2007. We won’t go there, although I mean, turning a diesel car to a hybrid would have efficiency benefits. Perhaps it’s a lot of work to play simultaneously but the excuse they use generally is pathetic.

What’s the issue with having two accounts? Particularly if you’re willing to pay double the cost? I have read the other comments, and you state”I don’t want two account”, but what exactly great advantage does using the same login to access the two accounts provide you? Even in the event that you login to each game with the exact same accounts at several times, they nevertheless don’t interact with one another. What advantage are you getting/hardship by using the exact same login, avoiding? For me having to begin on OSRS ( I hardly have time to play and os can be very time consuming with certain goals) and I always think, particularly today with the beach event how I could do agility in my old school.

It is very ridiculous I agree, why not just have two. Why I’d like to have the ability to get this done, but for me that is. I’d really sign up for the best shit if I meant I could do without beginning over. You do understand that regardless of what if you switch matches you need to start over right? It doesn’t matter whether it is the same accounts or not. What do you mean? I have made progress on my the same accounts for both games, and when I’d love to play at the same exact time I’d need to make a new account.

I am a hobby developer, and all the comments saying is”hopeless” don’t realy understands how login systems work. The simple and normal strategy is to allow simultaneosly logins. Can be a FEATURE to not allow logins. Allowing two games use anything wouldn’t crash. Consider netflix, not only they can let logins, they even manage to place a limit cheap OSRS gold. So developers have full control on the behavior. My view on this is that they didn’t do this either because they fear abuse and hackers should they change anything in the login system, or so the code is such a nightmare that not even they know how it works.

You are comparing an internet application that was constructed specifically to have that performance to a 20 year-old game that started out as just one game, and then became two matches using a branch of an older edition. Or it’s got nothing to do with the”login system” and more to do with how other shit works, like the cross-game friends list, friends chat, etc. that could be impacted with this, all programs that have been in existence for more than ten years and likely have barely been touched.

Its not possible, its simply not worth the effort for jagex, specialy in their proprietary language hardly any employees know and 15+ years worth of code touched by who knows how many people. Individuals who wishes to play on RS3 and OSRS in precisely the same time already do that and already pay x2 for it at the 2nd account. Even if this attribute for paying double was optional (cuz it’d amazingly unfair to charge double for the folks who dont play OSRS and dont have interest in playing with it ), why would jagex squander time and attempt to change and adapt such system when they’d get nothing out of it?
