RuneScape – JAGEX took many of my precious items
Public Group active 4 years, 6 months agoI log on the next day to RuneScape gold find my bank account was hacked…YES JAGEX took many of my precious items as punishment… it was a staggering amount. I was furious however it was the best I could do. I suppose I have a lot to do…but the third thing they did, and it was the most irritating aspect for me, was to rearrange my bank accounts and make it unaccessible. OCD kicked in…they don’t even know the time it took me to set everything up.
I guess I’ve got lots of work to do. In any case, the mere fact that there are bots makes me mad since that’s the reason for this whole mess. Comment if, out of the punishments..the entire bank’s reorganization würde piss you off the most!
SCENARIO. In the Jagex headquarters, sudden changes are taking place. The levels of activity are low, discontent is in the ranks of active players and the staff are running out of ideas. Jagex fires Runescape’s current head and hires you to help bring the game back to middle schools across the world.
You have more influence and are at the helm of a large multiplayer gaming community. But there’s a problem. What should you do now? If I were the director of Runescape I would admit that the fact that not that only is Runescape struggling but the genre itself is in trouble (see World of Warcraft for an example).
League of Legends is an example of a similar game. Although I would not copy League of Legends’ approach but I would like to learn some lessons learned from the game. I’d also consider improving the combat system. Right now the combat system is great for PvM but useless for PvP. Since cheap RS gold PvM is almost entirely members only most new players will never get an experience of PvM.
